AN event to celebrate International Women's Day is being held for teenage girls in Huddersfield.
The day, which celebrates the economic, social, cultural and political achievements for women, was on Tuesday, March 8.
But the Huddersfield event, organised by Kirklees Young People's Service, will not take place until next Saturday.
It will be held at Huddersfield Sports Centre, between 11am and 3pm and is open to girls aged 13 to 19.
Free activities will include Indian head massage, nail art, keep-fit, self-defence, henna tattooing, belly dancing, Bollywood dancing, street dancing, hair braiding, a climbing wall, arts and crafts and sports.
