A MAN has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of a Huddersfield charity fundraiser by dangerous driving.
Ashley Patrice, 22, of Northgate. Almondbury, made his plea when he appeared before a judge at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.
Mr Tony Robinson, 56, a talented pianist and organist, died last December after he was struck by a Rover car on Lane Head Road, Shepley.
The Shepley father-of-two, had previously undertaken two sponsored bike rides from Land's End to John o' Groat's and was planning another trip in June next year.
Patrice was remanded back into custody following yesterday's hearing.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Stephen Gullick, told him his five-day trial was listed to start on May 16.
