A red Rover car was later found in Flockton.

There was no application for bail and he was remanded in custody.
In a separate hearing, Daniel Robinson, 20, of Eastlands, Almondbury, has also appeared before Huddersfield magistrates charged with perverting the course of justice.
He was given unconditional bail.
