TEN-year-old Christopher Gee's artistic skills have won his school a new computer and £50 in vouchers for Toys R Us for himself.

Christopher, a pupil at Scholes Junior School, entered the competition run by Topps Tiles after his teacher David Idle brought a leaflet into class.

"The competition was for children and involved designing a tile," said Mr Idle.

"Christopher painted a lion in the jungle and his design won."

The computer, printer and scanner is now being used in the office.

And Christopher was more than happy with his toy vouchers.

His design may now be made into a tile by the company.

"Christopher thinks it's great. He was quite happy to let the school have the computer," said Mr Idle.
