Detectives are continuing to appeal for missing Huddersfield man Alan Holt who has now not been seen for two years.

The 40-year-old Dalton man was believed to have been sleeping rough in the Mirfield area and was reported missing to police on October 2, 2012 after he was last seen at his home on Albany Road on September 27.

Mr Holt was also seen in the grounds of St Mary’s Church in Mirfield on Monday, October 8, when he was described as wearing a blue jumper and jeans and had either a Lidl or Aldi carrier bag with him.

Mr Holt is described as white, 5ft 8in tall and of a slim build.

He is balding on top with black, greying hair at the back and sides. He also has a tattoo on his left shoulder which reads ‘On Fire’.

He could now possibly have a full beard.
