A MAN has appeared in court accused of driving whilst unfit through drugs.
Peter Willans, 25, admitted the offence at Albion Street in Heckmondwike on December 24. He denied further charges of driving a vehicle without insurance and without a test certificate, before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The mechanic claims that his drink was spiked. He is to have a special reasons hearing to argue that he shouldn’t be banned from driving.
Willans, of Waterstone Court in Dewsbury, was bailed to May 24.
