A MAN has appeared in court accused of stealing fork lift trucks from Dewsbury firms.
Stephen Crosthwaite, of Heybeck Lane, Dewsbury, was before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He is accused of stealing a Toyota fork lift truck, worth £10,000, from Bradford Brothers on March 5.
On the same date he allegedly stole a £5,000 Toyota fork lift truck, and a Yale fork lift truck, worth £5,000, from Burton Textiles. The 54-year-old denies the charges and faces crown court trial.
District Judge Marie Mallon told him that he will first appear back at the magistrates’ court on July 6. He was granted unconditional bail.
