Two men are due to be sentenced this afternoon after pleading guilty to people trafficking offences in Dewsbury.

Ferenc Illes, 25, of Beckett Walk, Dewsbury, and Janos Orsos, 43, of Lascelles Road, Heckmondwike, admitted charges of conspiracy to traffic people dating back to 2011.

The pair, who were remanded into custody in November last year, were involved with the exploitation of as many as nine people from Hungary who were brought to the UK for work.

Judge Peter Armstrong at at Teeside Crown Court is due to sentence both defendants at 2pm.
