A DISABLED man was robbed of his phone at the roadside in Huddersfield.

The Fartown man, 39, was on a motorised scooter travelling down Bradford Road towards the town centre at 1.20pm yesterday.

He had stopped to make a phone call when someone ran up behind him and snatched the phone.

The phone was a silver-coloured Sharp GX30 flip model, worth £400.

The thief is described as a man wearing a blue hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
