Police are appealing for information after a number of high-value, distinctive items were stolen - including this pair of ‘snake skin trainers’.

The property was stolen student halls in Huddersfield.

The burglary happened last Wednesday night at Snow Island, in Kings Mill Lane, Huddersfield.

Items stolen include a number of electrical items, including a gold iMac and black and silver Beats speakers; Monster Swarovski diamond-encrusted headphones and a rare pair of Guiseppe Zanotti snake skin trainers.

Pc Christopher Eglen, of Kirklees Burglary Team, said: “As part of our ongoing enquiries in to this burglary we are keen to hear from anyone who has been offered such items for sale or who has information about their whereabouts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kirklees Burglary Team via 101.
