Dodgy driving revealed: Watch this shocking dash cam footage from around Kirklees

Milnsbridge lorry driver witnesses worst of inconsiderate driving

This dash-cam footage has captured idiotic and inconsiderate driving of motorists on West Yorkshire roads.

From vehicles parking blocking the roads to nail biting near misses the video captures some of the worst driving.

In one the incidents a car overtakes a school coach on a rural road with potentially horrific consequences.

The footage was captured by Milnsbridge motorist Jamie Gorza who is now warning road users to be more considerate to avoid potentially fatal consequences.

Jamie Gorza, 29, drives a lorry by day and after his wagon was scrapped whilst stationary he decided to get a dash cam.

Jamie said: “About five or six month ago I got a dash cam after a driver tried to argue he hadn’t scrapped my wagon.

“I decided to upload the footage monthly to my dedicated Facebook page Alpha One Zero Alpha and may in future look to see if road traffic police would reinforce the message.

“I’ve witnessed daily how inconsiderate and anti social drivers.

“These drivers are just going about their daily business and maybe professional people outside of their vehicles but for some reason when they get behind the wheel they are making poor decisions and causing a hazard for other road users.”

Jamie turned his hand to driving after leaving the forces and was on the front end of accidents as a vehicle recovery driver.

“I’ve seen the state of vehicles which have been involved in crashes.

“They can be replaced but the people in them can’t.”

Jamie said in his current job as a timber merchant he has had brushes with vehicles blocking the road.

“In Brighouse I was at the roundabout near Tesco driving down Wakefield Road turning up to Clifton and this car just didn’t see me and we had a very near miss.

“Another time in Brighouse a milk lorry was coming out of a side road and pulled out and I had to slam on my brakes and breeze block bricks actually fell off my wagon.”
