THESE staff at a Meltham firm held a Fancy Some Fancy Dress Day for charity.

Disposables make and supply disposable paper products, cleaning and hygiene products.

The fun day also celebrated the last day at work of Kristieanne Travers. She is 31 and from Huddersfield and has worked in the firm's sales department. She is leaving to study singing at the Los Angeles Music Academy.

After a three-month selection process Kristieanne beat off hundreds of other hopefuls to secure one of the 30 places available in the academy's vocal department. She will leave next month for the year's course.

Costumes for the fun day included a police officer, a guard and a naughty schoolgirl.

All staff paid £2 to take part and all proceeds will go to the company's charity fund. The cash will be given to local children's charities at the end of the year.

In the last five years, the company has raised £12,000 for its charities, Childline and the Laura Crane Foundation.
