A MAN has appeared in court for failing to stop at the scene of an accident at Huddersfield railway station car park and failing to report it to police.
Gerard Dodgson, 46, of Marsh Lane, Shepley, appeared before magistrates in Huddersfield yesterday.
He is charged with two offences relating to an incident on September 20 last year in the Huddersfield railway station car park.
The court heard how Dodgson was driving a Toyota Rav 4 which resulted in a collision and damage to a white Mercedes.
The court was told how Dodgson failed to stop at the scene or to report the incident to the police.
