A TAXI driver was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Brighouse.

A TAXI driver was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Brighouse.

He was driving a Ford Galaxy people carrier which was in collision with a Ford Escort Cabriolet at 11pm on Saturday.

The accident happened at traffic lights at the crossroads of Birds Royd and Gooder Lane.

The taxi driver was the only person injured.

He was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with minor rib injuries.
