A TAXI driver was robbed by a masked man who said he had a gun.
The 62-year-old victim went to Osborne Road, Birkby, to pick up a fare just after 3am on Tuesday.
As he turned his car round in the cul-de-sac the passenger door was suddenly opened and a bala- clava-clad man got in.
He thrust a hard object into the driver's ribs and said he had a gun.
He threatened the victim and demanded money several times, until cash was handed over.
The robber then fled.
He is 17 to 25, about 5ft 6in and slim. He wore a dark blue tracksuit and a navy blue balaclava.
