CHILDREN will be able to go on an Easter hunt in an historic setting.

The youngsters' task will be to track down a number of chicks at Oakwell Hall Country Park in Birstall from Saturday, April 15 to Tuesday, April 18.

The hidden pictures of chickens will be in the hall and gardens. Each will include letters which make up an Easter message.

The quiz sheets need to be collected from the shop in the visitors' centre.

Every child who completes it successfully by working out the correct Easter message will be rewarded with a small chocolate Easter egg.

All the correct entries will then go into a prize draw to win either a large Easter egg or fluffy bunny.

The shop, like the museum, is open from 11am to 5pm every weekday and from noon to 5pm at weekends.

A family ticket to go into the hall is £3.30 for two adults and up to four children.

Otherwise it is £1.50 for adults and 60p for children and the disabled.
