The long weekend can mean limited services on buses and trains around Huddersfield and beyond.

Roads
Good news! Roadworks are being suspended or completed in time for the Easter weekend.
Roadworks to be lifted or completed include: M62 Junction 37 (near Goole), bridge work, 1.6miles of roadworks lifted; M62 Junction 26 Chain Bar, bridge work, 1.6miles of roadworks lifted; M62 Junction 24 Ainley Top, drainage repair work, 0.5miles of roadworks lifted;
M62 Junction 30-31 (near Wakefield), bridge work, 1.4 miles of roadworks completed;
M62 Junction 24 Ainley Top to Junction 25 Brighouse, drainage work, 2.2 miles of roadworks completed.
Trains
First TransPennine Express: Normal service Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive, no engineering works planned.
Northern Rail: Normal service over the Easter weekend, engineering works at Manchester Victoria affecting trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle via Manchester Victoria, which will be diverted and will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle. Passengers shoull use other trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly.
Buses
Travel centres at Bradford Interchange, Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds and Pontefract will be open between 10.15am-4pm on Good Friday and closed all day Easter Monday.
Good Friday: Saturday service except: Friday timetable for TLC services and 351, 923, 940, 960, 961, 962, 964; Sunday timetable for service 245 (Burnley); and the following services will not run: 8, 8A, 8B, 49 (Pontefract), 126, 183, 249, 370 (Streamline, 371 (Streamline), 487, 488, 489, 490, 544, 412, 780, P2, X1, X52, X70.
Saturday March 26: Normal Saturday service will run.
Easter Sunday: Normal Sunday service will run.
Easter Monday: Sunday service except: Saturday timetable on LOT services 31, 223, 226, 252 and 711. Services that will not run: 8, 8A, 49 (Pontefract), 74 (Pride of the Dales), 126 (Station Coaches), 144, 146, 183 (MTravel), 249 (MTravel), 257, 258, 370 (Streamline), 371 (Streamline), 400, 412, 487, 488, 489, 490, 504, 525, 544, 555, 600, 780, 800, 923, 940, 960, 961, 962, 964, E3, E5, E7, X1, X52, X70.
