ZUMBA and disco dancers will help raise funds for an award-winning band’s new home.

Elland Silver Band, which is needs to find £250,000, is hosting a zumba dancing and disco night tomorrow.

The current bandroom used for rehearsals ls showing signs of decay and is not expected to last much longer.

To ensure the future of the band, which has been in Elland since 1850, members need to find £250,000 and are holding a series of fundraisers.

The zumba night will be led by Natalka Kirkbridge, a qualified instructor.

It starts at 7.30pm at Rastrick Bowling Club, Toothill Bank, Rastrick and goes on to 11pm. Tickets are £6 and £4 for children, payable on the door on the night.

On Saturday, November 5, the band will hold its Festive Fair from 11.30am to 3.30pm in the bandroom on Dewsbury Road, Elland.
