An evicted car park firm has taken back its premises.

Global firm Euro Car Parks was mysteriously thrown off its Huddersfield town centre site by bailiffs on May 3.

The entrance of the Lord Street car park was chained off by enforcement workers from television’s ‘Can’t Pay We’ll Take It Away’ show.

It was claimed that the huge international firm, notorious for giving shoppers parking tickets, had failed to pay its rent.

Euro Car Parks’ signs were taken down and a new firm, Simple Intelligent Parking, took over, installing its own equipment and promising to upgrade the surface.

But just three weeks on and Euro Car Parks is back.

The Examiner received a tip-off last week that the firm went to court to seize back the site.

The London-based company has so far declined to make any comment on the matter at all.
