RELIGIOUS groups have planned a week of events.

Kirklees Faiths Forum is taking part in National Interfaith Week from Sunday, November 20, to Saturday, November 26.

There will be a film night, meals and debates.

Places of worship will welcome visitors throughout the week.

Kirklees Faiths Forum is also asking people to take part in its Pledge a Pound and Lose a Luxury to raise money to support people in crisis.

Hannah Taylor, development officer at Kirklees Faiths Forum, said: “Interfaith Week is a really positive way to celebrate the diverse and inspiring communities we have in Kirklees.

“The activities throughout the week are open to anyone who wants to learn a bit more about different faiths and beliefs.

“We’ve organised events that are innovative, fun and interesting and we hope lots of people will come along and enjoy them.”
