These pupils at Deighton High School were ready to use a new bottle bank there in April 1987.

Pictured (from left) were pupils Jane Nelson, Marc Graley, Adrian Stephens and Stacey Ashurst.

The school had recently taken delivery of three bottle banks for clear, green and brown bottles.

They were available for general use by the public as part of the school’s effort to make both pupils and the general community more aware of their surroundings.
