SHE is the daughter hero soldier Daniel Wade never saw.

The baby daughter of fallen Yorkshire Regiment soldier Pte Daniel Wade joined the homecoming parade of his company, which lost six men in Afghanistan.

Pte Wade from Warrington carried an ultrasound scan of his unborn Lexie-Mai Louise , sent by fiancee Emma Hickman.

Now four months old, Lexie-Mai was brought to the emotional event last week by 19-year-old Emma who was six month’s pregnant with Pte Wade’s daughter when he was killed by an IED blast last March.

Emma and friends and family, wore pink and black ‘Our Hero’ hoodies with a picture of Daniel – while little Lexie-Mai wore a T-shirt with the same slogan.

Wade, 20 was killed with Huddersfield soldiers Cpl Jake Hartley, 20, Pte Anton Frampton, 20 and Pte Daniel Wilford, 21 along with Pte Christopher Kershaw, 19, and Sergeant Nigel Coupe, 33 .
