THE family of Farah Noor Adams, who was raped and murdered while power-walking on a river bank have branded her killer's sentence a "mockery of justice". Thomas Waddell, 19, was detained for life yesterday after attacking Ms Adams, a mother-of-one, in Glasgow in October 2005. The teenager was told he would have to serve at least 16 years and was greeted with shouts of "scum" from the public gallery as he was led down from the dock at the High Court in Edinburgh. Ms Adams's older brother, Mohammed Shaheed, said: "We are utterly at a loss for words at the leniency of the sentence."
