A BROTHER and sister from Batley have won a poster competition.

The contest was organised by Kirklees Council's environmental services as part of National Food Safety Week.

Joshua, nine, and Hannah Sheldrake, six, were among entrants invited to illustrate one of 10 top tips to help avoid common causes of food- related illnesses.

Both were presented with their own design in a framed poster, together with artwork products worth £30.

The winning posters will be professionally printed and displayed at council information points, libraries, leisure centres and pay offices.
