Huddersfield's most famous moggy has been the subject of yet more undying love this week.

Felix the Huddersfield Station Cat has racked up more than 50,000 Facebook followers since news of her promotion to Senior Pest Controller hit global headlines.

The resident mouse-catcher has fans in (wait for it) Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Brazil, Belgium, and states across the US including California, Florida, Texas and Illinois to name a few.

But her worldwide fame has not stopped there.

Felix posted news of her latest gifts saying: "A big hello to my colleagues in Germany! Always nice to hear from fellow felines."

Felix was promoted on behalf of TransPennine Express and lives in the station, where she is popular with staff and commuters alike.
