MORE than 700 people watched the final Harry Potter film in Huddersfield in the early hours today.

The Odeon in Huddersfield sold out its full two screen capacity for the film.

And they had another two on stand-by for fans who hadn’t booked in advance.

Cliff Baillie, manager, said: “We showed the film at one minute past midnight and we’d already sold out two screens before, that’s around 700 people.

“We’ve also sold out of tickets for tonight’s 8.30pm screening too and we’re running five cinema screenings tonight.

“We’re sure we’ll get people coming in fancy dress for the last one ever and enjoying it.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two is the final Potter movie based on J K Rowlings’ books.

It is the last outing for the three original stars of the Harry Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
