A WOMAN aged 62 has died after falling from a bridge above the M62.
The westbound carriageway of the motorway at Junction 27 in Birstall was sealed off after the body was spotted at 8.40pm last night.
Insp Adrian Lyles, of West Yorkshire Police, said: "The circumstances of the death are being investigated.
"Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident. It is not being treated as suspicious."
The motorway was reopened at about midnight.
