A FATHER has spoken of his anguish after an inquest into the death of his son whose body lay unidentified on a mortuary slab for two years.

Sean Hutchinson, 20, of Pontefract, disappeared from home on June 21, 2003, Dover Magistrates' Court heard.

His body washed up at Dover on July 8, 2003 but he was not identified until 2005.

His badly decomposed body gave no clue as to how he died.

Sean Hutchinson's father, John Hutchinson, 46, of Newtownards, Northern Ireland, said: "It's an open verdict.

"I still didn't find out what happened to my son."
