Police are seeking the public’s help to find a missing girl believed to be in Huddersfield.

And they admit that they are growing increasingly concerned for the youngster.

Levi Margison, 15, was reported missing from her Rochdale home.

Police said she was last seen at her home at 6pm on Wednesday.

She later got a taxi from the Asda supermarket in The Old Cricket Ground, Rochdale, to the Hillhouse Lane area of Huddersfield.

Her current whereabouts are unknown but she may still be in Huddersfield.

Police want to hear from anyone who has seen Levi.

She is described as white, around 5ft 4in tall, slim, with a pale complexion, with green eyes and long, ginger wavy hair past shoulder length.

She was last seen wearing an orange hooded top, blue skinny jeans, a grey zip-up top with a hood and lilac and white Nike high top trainers.

However it is understood that she left with a suitcase of clothes.

Det Insp Jim Griffiths, of Kirklees CID, said: “Although Levi has been reported missing from the Rochdale area the focus of our enquiries at this time is in the Huddersfield area.

“I would urge anyone who has seen a girl matching Levi’s description or who has any information about her movements or current whereabouts to call Kirklees CID on 101.

“Alternatively, if you have information but would prefer to give it anonymously, then you can do so by calling independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
