FEARS are growing for the safety of a 23-year-old mother.

Elizabeth Jauncey, also known as Elizabeth Corbett, disappeared from her home in Bunny Park, Lockwood, on June 17.

She walked out of the home in a distressed state leaving her two-year-old son behind with his father. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Pc Dave McSweeney, of Huddersfield police, said: "We are extremely concerned for her well-being and would like her to contact the police as a matter of urgency to confirm that she is fit and well."

Mrs Jauncey is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, slim, with light brown hair which may be dyed blonde or ginger.

She is originally from Worcester and speaks with a Midlands accent.
