A woman shopkeeper was stabbed during a terrifying robbery at a convenience store in Leeds Road.
The incident happened this evening at the Costcutter store in Deighton.
The woman was working in the shop and was threatened with a knife during the robbery.
Details of her injuries are not yet known but are not thought to be serious.
Police could only confirm they were called to an incident on Leeds Road and inquiries are ongoing.
