Fire crews called to two-vehicle crash in Liversedge

Male driver checked at the scene but not seriously injured after two vehicle crash

Fire crews were called to a two-vehicle crash in Liversedge last night.

The collision occurred at around 11pm and involved two cars at the junction of Huddersfield Road and Liversedge Hall Road.

One driver was still inside his vehicle as fire crews from Cleckheaton were first on the scene.

They assisted with first-aid and gave the male casualty oxygen while awaiting the arrival of paramedics.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured. Paramedics arrived on scene and the first driver was moved to the care of the ambulance services.

No-one was seriously injured.
