What we know so far
Fire crews from across West Yorkshire have been called to fight a mill blaze in Huddersfield.
They were called to the fire in Britannia Road.
It is thought the blaze, which sent palls of black smoke pouring into the sky above Milnsbridge, is on a unit at the Britannia Trading Estate.
At least eight fire engines have been called to the scene.
West Yorkshire Fire Service confirmed the call came in at 12.25pm and a number of units are on the site.
A spokesman said it was too early to say what was involved in the fire but crews have been deployed at the industrial park.
The Britannia Road Trading estate comprises a range of buildings alongside the River Colne and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.Parts of the complex are old mill buildings but there are also a series of smaller industrial units.
