Firework's eye view of bonfire event shows amazing side to annual November 5 celebrations

Take a look at camera footage shot from hundreds of feet up - and just how fireworks looks from above

It's stunning footage of a major celebration in Mirfield.

And the man behind the drone film of Mirfield Round Table’s annual bonfire and firework display couldn’t be more pleased.

“I’m delighted at the way it worked out”, said Iain Moyser.

“Because of the large crowds, some 2,000 people, I had to put safety first and shot from the drone high above the field across the road. The results were great and I know the Round Table people are delighted”.

Iain, 27, of Dewsbury, a marketing manager with a logistics company, has been experimenting with footage using a drone for the past few months.

He has shot scenes for Newsome High School and for the Mirfield Stags rugby club, where he is an official.

He uses an £1,100 DJI Phantom drone, which has a camera mounted on the frame, and has also bought software to aid the editing process.

“It started as a hobby but now a few people have asked me to do work for them, such as footage of their homes or events like the bonfire.

“It is specialised work but it seems to do well”.
