Battered sole is on the menu for fish shop workers Richard Shaw and Dawn Su.
The pair have decided to take part in the Flora London Marathon and on April 14 they will be giving their feet, rather than their fish, a serious battering.
Richard, 20, who was busy training, said it will be their first marathon. "I watched it on the television last year and thought it would be a good idea to have a go," he said.
The pair, who work at Paddock Fisheries and Cantonese Takeaway, will be raising money for Phab, an organisation which provides social activities for physically handicapped and able bodied people.
"We haven't set ourselves a target time, we just want to finish it," said Richard.
The pair will be holding a fundraising night at Abrahams pub, in Westgate, on March 20, with live bands.
