FIVE suspected burglars were pursued by officers on the ground and traced by the West Yorkshire Police helicopter before they were arrested in Marsden.
The incident happened yesterday morning when officers from the Valleys Neighbourhood Policing Team were alerted to suspicious activity in Plain House.
When they arrived the suspects made off in a vehicle.
The force's helicopter attended and assisted officers on the ground searching for the men.
All five men, in their 20s and 30s, were then arrested.
They were detained in custody yesterday while investigations were made regarding the burglaries.
