FIVE men accused of murdering Bradford Pc Sharon Beshenivsky appeared before Leeds Crown Court yesterday - three by video link.

Two had appeared before a judge previously, accused of murdering the officer who was shot in Bradford on November 18 as she responded to an alarm call at a travel agents.

But yesterday it was confirmed three other men, who had appear- ed on lesser charges in connection with the incident, had also been added to the murder indictment.

Yusuf Abdillh Jama, 19, Mussaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, Raza Haq Aslam, 24, Faisal Razzaq, 24, and Hassan Razzaq, 25, are all facing murder, robbery and firearms charges.

Shah is also accused of the attempted murder of Pc Teresa Milburn, who was shot and seriously hurt in the same incident.

Jama, of Birmingham, and Shah, of no fixed address, appear- ed via a video link from Strangeways Prison in Manchester. Aslam, of Kentish Town, London, appeared via video link from Doncaster Prison. Hassan Razzaq and his brother Faisal, both of Forest Gate, London, appeared in person.

The trial is due to start on June 12.
