Two charities have teamed up to provide a stimulating green space for children at a Brackenhall hospice.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Greenfingers hope to raise £50,000 to build a sensory garden for patients at the hospice.

The new garden will be designed to provide stimulation for children of all ages and needs.

Vicki Finlay, director of care at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, said: “We are thrilled that Greenfingers have chosen us as their charity to support in 2013/14.

“Together we hope to raise the funds to be able to realise our plans for a garden that will create a special space for our children and families.”
