DEVELOPERS have won the go-ahead to convert a disused church into flats. Eight two-bed apartments will be created at the former Methodist Church at Green Lane, Greetland. Calderdale councillors backed the proposals despite four objections by neighbours. A report said the development was not expected to bring any parking problems. The property was formerly West Vale Squash Club and became hit by vandals after the club closed.
