A FORMER soap star hit the campaign trail in Huddersfield last night.

Mirfield-born Tracy Brabin was knocking doors for the Labour Party yesterday in the run-up to Thursday’s Kirklees Council election.

The actor – who portrayed Tricia Armstrong in Coronation Street and has also appeared in EastEnders – canvassed for votes on Roger Lane in Ashenhurst yesterday.
