The former office of a travel agent, which folded earlier this month, is back on the market.

The Coach House, previously the home of Villa Parade, is available to let for £3,625 per month.

Villa Parade collapsed on May 15 leaving thousands of holidaymakers across the UK in confusion.

The 337m² office, on Belmont Street, Highfields, is being advertised by property agency Walker Singleton.

The building, which belongs to a private owner, was rented to Villa Parade.

Villa Parade, which rented luxury villas in the Mediterranean, is being wound up by Cleckheaton-based insolvency firm O’Hara.

The company collapsed shortly after reassuring 1,300 customers that their bookings would be honoured.

It is believed Villa Parade lost its contract for 93 villas in Majorca after failing to pay their landlords.

Villa Parade, which ran a subsidiary company called Air Parade specialising in flights, was under investigation by travel watchdog ABTA for offering rentals it could not honour.

The company had been involved in a High Court battle with rival travel agent Travelopo, which had contacted Villa Parade customers telling them their bookings would not be honoured.

As Villa Parade folded, it blamed Travelopo saying it had been ‘fatally wounded’ by its rival.

Travelopo and ABTA have themselves been involved in a dispute.

ABTA claims Somerset-based Travelopo was struck of its register for failing to comply with the watchdog’s financial code, while Travelopo claims it voluntarily ended its ABTA membership.
