POLICE investigating the murder of a Bradford policewoman have arrested four men.

Mother-of-five Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead when she went to deal with an armed robbery at a travel agents in Bradford city centre last November 18.

Her colleague, Pc Teresa Milburn, was injured.

West Yorkshire Police arrested four men last night in connection with alleged murder and firearms offences.

They travelled to London to make three of the arrests, with help from the Metropolitan Police.

The three men who were arrested in London are a Halifax man aged 24 and two 24-year-olds from London.

A 32-year-old man was arrested in Leicester.

They have been brought back to police stations in West Yorkshire for questioning.

Police confirmed this morning they still want to trace 25-year old Mustaf Jama in connection with the murder.

He is believed to have links with Sheffield, Birmingham, Coventry and Leicester.

But he could be anywhere in the country.

If anyone sees him or knows where he is they should phone the police immediately.

Rewards totalling £90,000 are now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Pc Beshenivsky's murder.
