A KIRKBURTON inn is celebrating after achieving another 100% accreditation in their latest independent inspection.
The Foxglove on Penistone Road scored full marks in its CMI audit, which is assessed by independent food inspectors who made an unannounced inspection visit.
This comes as the adjoining Innkeeper's Lodge hotel achieved its seventh 100% `mystery sleeper' result in succession.
Inspectors independently assess everything from check-in to check- out to give a report on the service offered, and the hotel scored full marks again.
Manager Sam Kidd has been crowned Hotelier of the Year for her all round performance, by leisure operating group Mitchells and Butlers, which monitors the operation of about 100 hotels throughout Great Britain before making a decision.
She said: "All the staff have worked extremely hard behind the scenes.
"It's fantastic that they have won this recognition for all their efforts.
"Our main aim is to continue delivering a great service to our customers, and it is a great boost to see that our efforts are being noticed in the industry."
