Charges have been dropped against the partner of Jack Darrell Henry who has already admitted his part in a council tax fraud.

Henry, 47, who ran several Huddersfield-based council tax claims firms, admitted charges ahead of a trial due to start today at Leeds Crown Court.

His partner Shahla Marie Rezai, 28, of Liversedge appeared at Leeds Crown Court today accused of conspiracy to defraud and money-laundering.

But the court heard the Crown Prosecution Service is not pursuing Rezai's case and  she was released from the dock.

The trial is expected to start this afternoon for three other people accused in connection with the case.
