FREE children’s books are being handed to supermarket shoppers. Kirklees Council’s mobile library will be at Morrisons supermarket, Waterloo, on November 13 to offer free packs of books to babies and children up to the age of four. The initiative is a joint venture between literacy scheme Kirklees Bookstart, the mobile library service and Morrisons. The library van will be parked outside the store at Penistone Road from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
