A FREEZER caught fire at a Lockwood home on Saturday evening.
The householders returned to the address in May Street at about 6pm to find it full of smoke after the appliance's motor had burned out.
Two Huddersfield firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the small blaze.
The property was badly smoke-logged but there was little other damage.
