A LORRY was destroyed by fire in Brighouse.
A fire investigation is underway after the heavy goods vehicle was found ablaze on Wakefield Road, opposite the Holiday Inn hotel.
A member of the public raised the alarm at around 3.30am on Friday.
Crews from Brighouse and Cleckheaton rushed to the scene to find the cabin completely engulfed in flames.
Nobody else was present at the scene and the cause of the blaze is now being investigated.
Fire crews used breathing apparatus to tackle the flames.
