A WOMAN who died as she crossed a busy Huddersfield road at the weekend has been named.
Kayleigh Sylvester, of Town Crescent, was involved in a collision with a Ford Mondeo on Leeds Road on Friday night.
The 24-year-old was crossing the road outside the Yorkshire Rose pub when the incident happened.
She was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary but later died.
A 38-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident is on bail pending further enquiries.
