THREE soldiers from Huddersfield were among the six killed when their vehicle was blown up by a Taliban bomb in Afghanistan.
Private Antony Frampton, known as Anton by family and friends, 20, Corporal Jake Hartley, 20, and Pte Daniel Wilford, 21, were killed on Tuesday when their Warrior vehicle struck an IED about 25 miles north of Helmands capital, Lashkar Gah, at 6.30pm local time (2pm UK time).
Their colleagues Sergeant Nigel Coupe, 33, of 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancasters Regiment, Pte Daniel Wade, 20 and Pte Christopher Kershaw, 19, were also killed in the blast.
