SCHOOL holidays need not be boring for children, now that a play-scheme has opened in Holmbridge.
Activities and games will be held indoors and outdoors at Holme Bandroom in Woodhead Road.
The scheme will run from 8am to 6pm all through the holidays as an extension of the village after-school club.
Manager Linda Rane said fun activities would be offered for everyone.
"Summer holidays can be challenging for parents in terms of childcare and avoiding the cries of `I'm bored'," she added.
